In-Water Survey
Submara performs class-approved In-Water Surveys in port while the vessel is in operation.

What questions we answer
Can I maintain class status without dry-docking?
What does dry-docking really cost me?
Traditional dry-docking takes an average of 37 days and costs far more than the inspection itself, in lost operational time and revenue. With In-Water Survey, Submara's experienced divers conduct class-approved inspections while the ship is alongside. No dry-docking, minimal operational disruption.
We provide complete documentation to class and authorities, and the IWS cycle reduces the need for dry-docking from every 2.5 to every 5 years. Submara is approved by all relevant classification societies and adapts the inspection to the vessel's schedule and berthing conditions, regardless of port or location.
We assist when the vessel is due for a class survey and wants to avoid dry-docking. During planned layovers / maintenance windows in Norwegian ports, and when flexibility in location and rapid mobilization are required.
